Desktop: i6700 CPU ( core 2 duo 2.7Ghz) 4GB memory ( brand /type make no difference) Nvidia 8800GTX x2 SLI Notebook: Dell M170 intel coreduo 2ghz 2GB memory Nvidia 7800 GTX I also downloaded the Linage 2 movies and used them as dreamscene wallpaper, your talking about full motion video ~150MB worth, CPU usage right now. I've downloaded and used quite a few of the dreams here, alot of them, and the CPU usage on both my desktop & laptop barely budge above 5% to 10% at most when dreamscene is active and displaying it's content. The two most anticipated features of Stardock DeskScapes has been the promise of animated wallpapers that can change based on triggered events (time of day, weather, etc.) as well as dynamic animated wallpapers (wallpapers that are generated on the fly as opposed to looping video). can't believe some of the stuff I read on here. CPU usage is relative to what your system specs, and the applications / services running on the machine. Choose from the massive integrated library or use your own images or video files to personalize. This week DeskScapes 8 was released and while it is most famous for its ability to display animated wallpapers, I personally think of the animated wallpapers as an additional perk on top of the fact that it’s a really awesome way to manage and enhance normal Windows desktop backgrounds.

Dreamscene does not 'normally' use anywhere near 40% CPU usage. DeskScapes gives you the capability to animate and customize the wallpaper on your Windows desktop. The best desktop wallpaper manager is DeskScapes. Most of the people on here have absolutely no clue what they are talking about.
